Our very own woodcarver/aspiring theologian, Shaun M. Hewlett, seeks to make this possible for you in our Understandable Theology Series.
In our current day and age, we understand that reading can be quite the chore for many people, and this is true for believers too. We want to know more about what God’s Word says, but we either don’t understand it, the books we see in the book store are too vague, or are so large and cumbersome that we shrink back, overwhelmed, discouraged and unmotivated to read. However, we strongly believe that there is nothing more important for people to understand than the Bible.
Therefore, Shaun seeks to resolve this issue in this book series. Taking big truths of the Bible, like the perseverance of the saints, the Church, God’s love, assurance of salvation, man’s sin, and God’s grace, etc. Shaun teaches on these truths in short, concise, and easy to understand and read books. There are many books out there that can leave people more confused about a topic after reading about it than they were before. This series seeks to take those hard to understand, yet important, doctrines of the Holy Scriptures, and make them accessible and easy to understand for the everyday person. No matter who you are, in what season you’re in, we hope that this book series will help you have a better understanding of what God’s holy, inerrant, and infallible Word says.
Shaun M. Hewlett was born and raised just outside of London, England. He gave his life to the Lord in the late summer of 2012 and now resides in the beautiful state of Montana with his wife Elisabeth and three children, Asher, Nathan, and Zoe. He currently serves as a deacon at Cabinet Mountain Bible Church, Trout Creek.
