Behind-the-Scenes in August 2025

During the winter, as we started planning the year ahead with all the shows and events it would hold, we kept contemplating whether to participate in the Farmer’s Markets. Because our products take a lot of time to make, we didn’t want to risk selling out during the summer just to rush more products for the busy Christmas season. Thankfully, we were able to work hard and keep producing products that allowed for a good stock level as we moved into summer, so we thought we would try a few Farmer’s Markets. We love the fact that you don’t have to commit to every week, which relieved a lot of pressure to show up. BUT, we went to the first week at the Thompson Falls Farmer’s Market and we haven’t missed a week since. It has been one of the highlights of our week! The community we’re building and the fact that we’re out, it’s been so good. We love meeting new people and striking up conversations about, just about, anything. We’re so thankful to have the opportunity to do that this year.

The Havens Stable Vendor Show this last month was cut short due to an intense wind and rainstorm. We had three new vendors join us this time, and for the shorter day that it was, it went well. We’re looking forward to the last one of 2025 on September 20th. There should be even more new vendors and all our regulars, so you’ll want to be sure to put it on your calendar and stop by. We’re praying for good weather.

Amongst the busyness the summer brings, we’re always looking for new product ideas. We have two new scents for our Room Sprays in development, which we’re hoping to release at our next show…hint: they’ll be perfect for the changing season. With that, our hats and earwarmers will be back too, and some more, new and returning, seasonal items. Bring on the cooler weather!
