Behind-the-Scenes in October 2025

It has been so nice (and needed) to have no shows in October. We had a few more Farmers Markets at the beginning, but those are done for the season. That means, we’ve been working hard on stocking up for the Christmas shows.

A new change for us this year: we’ve been asked to organize the Cornucopia of Crafts event that happens every year at the Whitepine Grange. It is a learning curve, yet we’re very much enjoying the process. You’ll want to stop by on November 22, there are some great vendors this year!

As many of you know, we desire to do all things for God’s glory. This desire shapes the way we live life and do business. We wish to run our business in a way that is open, honest, and devoted to putting out great products of high-quality, using the best materials/ingredients in everything we make.

That being said, with the new tariffs, the high-quality yarn that we use for our best-selling Cotton Dish Cloths and Cotton Hot Pads, comes from Denmark and purchasing the yarn from our source is now substantially more expensive. Unfortunately, that means we’ve had to raise our prices on those two products. We love our community and deeply value your support and input. Again, we desire to bring the best product for YOU, so making changes like this is hard, but we greatly appreciate your understanding.
